Senior Accounting Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Accounting Analyst will analyze and interpret financial data, maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP, and support project budget tracking while collaborating with project managers and clinical staff.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support tracking of project budgets and expenditures, providing documentation for audits and tax compliance
- Develop and recommend improvements to financial management systems and accounting procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in clinical research or a related healthcare setting
- Strong background in accounting and financial reconciliations
- Proficient in NetSuite and Office 365 products, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of clinical trial reporting is a plus but not required
