Senior Accounting Analyst
Job Summary
Analyzing and interpreting financial data, the full-time Senior Accounting Analyst will maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP, support project budget tracking, and collaborate with project managers in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support tracking of project budgets and provide documentation for audits and tax compliance
- Collaborate with project managers to gather and analyze financial data related to ongoing projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in clinical research or a related healthcare setting
- Proficient in NetSuite and Office 365 products, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of clinical trial reporting is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and financial reconciliations
