Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance the US accounting close process, the remote Senior Accounting & Reporting Analyst will independently manage close readiness, reporting, and analytics while collaborating across teams to improve financial transparency and control.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage key close-management routines, ensuring timely completion and issue resolution
• Build and enhance the US Controller close reporting package, synthesizing financial data for leadership
• Develop analytics and visualizations to improve understanding of financial results and close quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience with responsibility for month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles, with practical experience in reconciliations and financial analysis
• Proven ability to operate independently as a senior contributor, managing workstreams and driving projects to completion
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization or business-intelligence tools
• Experience using automation and AI tools to improve accounting processes
