Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, manage the month-end close process, and ensure compliance with US GAAP while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and month-end close for timely financial reporting
• Oversee accurate data entry and processing of invoices, maintaining strong controls over disbursements
• Lead and develop a team, setting priorities and driving performance to enhance overall efficiency

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and month-end close
• 2+ years of experience managing accounting staff directly
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (CPA preferred)
• Proficiency with modern finance systems and ability to optimize new tools
• Experience with international accounting and consolidations preferred
