Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading the North America accounting operations, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure timely financial reporting, and develop a high-performing team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting and operating expense close activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Lead and develop a multi-level accounting team, establishing clear roles and performance expectations
• Drive process improvements and maintain strong internal controls while acting as the escalation point for accounting issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership in complex monthly and quarterly closes
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience in general accounting areas such as payroll and operating expenses
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing financial analyses and audit support with high standards for accuracy
• Experience in driving process improvement and managing teams in dynamic environments
