Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Owning the core accounting function, the remote Senior Accounting Manager will manage the month-end close, coordinate financial audits and tax returns, and partner with Revenue Operations to ensure accurate contract-to-cash processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the full monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Serve as the primary contact for annual financial audits and corporate tax return preparation, ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Collaborate with the Revenue Operations team to manage and improve the order-to-cash process, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and billing integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or management-level role
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience managing full-cycle month-end close
• Proven experience managing external audits and coordinating corporate tax return preparation
• Experience with multi-state payroll compliance and working with external payroll providers
