Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

To lead the general ledger and accounts payable team, the full-time remote Senior Accounting Manager will oversee daily, monthly, and annual accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements and team development.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process and deliver financial statements within 10 days of month-end
• Train and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure efficient processing and compliance with vendor terms
• Manage monthly inventory accounting, including reconciliations and coordination with operations and logistics partners

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA highly desirable; public accounting or audit experience a plus
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading GL and AP teams
• Proven experience closing monthly books within 10 days for an inventory-heavy, omnichannel CPG business
• Strong technical GAAP knowledge and experience with NetSuite and system implementations highly desirable
