Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading the provider compensation accounting function for a large multi-state physician practice network, the full-time Senior Accounting Manager will manage a team responsible for the accurate calculation, accounting, and reporting of compensation for over 200 providers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly provider compensation close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Own and maintain the master provider compensation matrix, ensuring all arrangements are documented and updated
• Participate in provider contracting to translate compensation terms into clear, auditable calculations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or provider compensation experience, including team leadership
• Healthcare accounting experience with a focus on multi-site provider compensation is required
• Proven ability to interpret complex contracts and convert them into mathematical calculations
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
