Senior Accounting Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary

Guiding new clients through system setup and account activation, the remote Senior Accounting Onboarding Specialist will manage a high-volume portfolio, ensuring smooth onboarding experiences while collaborating with various teams to resolve any issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily client meetings to gather financial data and build trust through effective communication
• Set up and configure Uplinq and QuickBooks Online accounts, resolving integration and access issues
• Manage multiple onboarding timelines and proactively address workload challenges to prevent delays

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in a client-facing accounting or onboarding role, preferably at a public or multi-client accounting firm
• 6+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online, including setup, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of cash- and accrual-based accounting principles
• Proven ability to manage 25+ active client relationships simultaneously with effective communication
• Warm and confident presence with clients, capable of building rapport quickly and addressing scope and pricing discrepancies directly
