Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will verify and post payments from customers, process adjustments and refunds, and reconcile payment discrepancies while collaborating with various internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely application of payments received from customers based on service level objectives
- Process and record all payment types, including ACH, wires, and lockbox activity
- Support the Team Leader in creating and executing processes that mitigate financial risk while enhancing efficiency and accuracy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of PC-based application software, particularly Google Sheets
- Strong accounting and analytical skills with a focus on process improvements
- Ability to work Monday-Friday from 10:00am - 7:00pm ET
- Proven project management capabilities with excellent time management and prioritization skills
