Senior Actuarial Analyst
Job Summary
To strengthen the Actuarial Finance team, the remote Senior Actuarial Analyst will manage financial forecasting, actuarial modeling, and data analysis while collaborating with finance, clinical, and strategy teams to enhance decision-making and assess emerging risks.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast value-based care membership, revenue, and medical expenses, identifying trends and utilization drivers
- Build and maintain actuarial and financial models for forecasting and performance tracking
- Translate complex analyses into executive-ready summaries and performance narratives for senior leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in actuarial, analytical, or finance roles
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare, managed care, or regulated industries
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL, SAS, R, Python, or comparable programming skills
- Experience with value-based care models, such as ACOs or MA, is preferred
