Senior Actuarial Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Actuarial Analyst will serve as the actuarial voice for Nearmap and its customers' rate filings, coordinating with cross-functional teams to produce filing materials, manage regulatory submissions, and directly engage with customers on data implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and collaborate with teams to create filing materials, including model memos and validation metrics
- Document state requirements for model validation and ensure compliance with NAIC filing checklists
- Lead analytical responses to regulator objections and support customers in understanding filing-ready attributes
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of property and casualty actuarial experience, particularly in pricing and rate filings
- ACAS or FCAS credentialing is strongly preferred
- Experience preparing actuarial exhibits for rate filings and addressing regulator objections
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for handling large claims and exposure data
