Job Summary
Providing actuarial support for commercial lines, the full-time Senior Actuarial Analyst - CT Licensed will manage rate filing support, analyze market trends, and collaborate with underwriting and analytics teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Become an expert on commercial lines insurance rating plans and rate indications
- Compile and support rate filings for program changes and monitor performance of pricing/underwriting models
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into emerging market trends and suggest product changes to address business concerns
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related area
- 4+ years of actuarial experience, including at least 2 years in commercial lines insurance pricing
- Successful completion of 4 full actuarial exams
- Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance products
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SQL
