Job Summary
Performing and supporting Property & Casualty reserve analyses, the full-time Senior Actuary will ensure the accuracy and integrity of loss reserves while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct quarterly Loss and LAE reserve analyses across assigned lines of business, ensuring compliance with actuarial standards
- Develop actuarial insights related to reserve performance and emerging risks, collaborating with Claims and Underwriting
- Contribute to team effectiveness through collaboration, sharing technical knowledge, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with a focus on reserving
- ACAS required; FCAS designation or active pursuit of FCAS preferred
- Strong understanding of loss reserving techniques and actuarial modeling
- Proficiency with actuarial reserving software or programming tools
- Experience with financial reporting, reserve reviews, and regulatory requirements
