Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support complex challenges in federal agencies, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will engage with stakeholders to develop AI solutions, oversee the entire project lifecycle, and ensure successful deployment in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to understand workflows and define success criteria
- Build and operationalize AI capabilities, ensuring integration with existing systems and user interfaces
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute reusable patterns to enhance team capabilities
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building and shipping production software
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with large language models and AI applications
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or SQL
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions with non-technical stakeholders
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain federal government clearance
