Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

As the first engineer on the AI-Native Services team, the full-time remote Senior AI Engineer will spearhead the development of AI-driven business solutions, focusing on building and operating production agents, collaborating with design customers, and establishing evaluation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate production agents and workflows, ensuring seamless orchestration and data integration
• Collaborate with design customers to map workflows and develop solutions based on live data
• Establish evaluation frameworks, including datasets, monitoring, and incident management to enhance agent performance

Required qualifications

• Experience building and operating at least one AI agent or agentic workflow in a production environment
• Strong engineering judgment in models, APIs, data integrations, and observability
• Direct experience working with customers on discovery, implementation, or incident resolution
• Ability to break down complex workflows into deterministic steps and define testing processes
• Familiarity with regulated domains (e.g., payroll, payments) is a plus
