Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and delivery of complex healthcare AI products, the remote Senior AI Engineer will manage end-to-end workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize AI models while ensuring compliance and safety in a regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex AI products, including agentic workflows and RAG systems
- Translate stakeholder needs into validated AI workflows with clear system behavior and risk controls
- Implement reliable AI control layers and optimize healthcare AI models across various approaches
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 5+ years of relevant engineering experience with ownership of complex production components
- Hands-on experience delivering and operating production AI/ML applications
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Deep working knowledge of AI evaluations, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop design
