Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and deployment of intelligent systems, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will own end-to-end AI solutions, set technical direction, and mentor engineers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and oversee end-to-end AI systems, ensuring operational excellence and secure integration across cloud and on-prem environments
• Define strategies for large language models (LLMs), including prompt engineering and model selection, while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Establish evaluation frameworks for measuring AI quality and mentor other engineers in code and design reviews

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of production software experience with strong proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and Python AND SQL
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating medallion architectures (bronze/silver/gold) at scale
• Production experience with large language models, retrieval systems, and agentic orchestration
• Strong understanding of secure system design, API integrations, and handling PII-sensitive data
