Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a production-grade healthcare GenAI platform, the remote Senior AI Engineer will design and maintain backend AI services, develop agentic workflows, and ensure secure clinical data integrations using Python and various AI frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend AI services using Python 3.12+, async service patterns, and frameworks such as FastAPI and Google ADK
- Develop and operate agentic GenAI workflows with Google ADK 2.x as the primary orchestration framework
- Integrate LLM providers and GenAI toolkits while ensuring secure clinical integration boundaries for healthcare systems
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong production experience with Python, asynchronous programming, and backend APIs
- Hands-on experience building GenAI applications with Google ADK 2.x or similar frameworks
- Demonstrated understanding of LLM tool calling, multi-agent workflows, and AI safety patterns
- Experience with cloud-native services in Azure and/or Google Cloud
