Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the customer-facing agent portfolio, the remote Senior AI Engineer will design, build, and evaluate AI agents for customer support, lending, and sales, ensuring farmers receive timely and accurate assistance while enhancing operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer support agents to handle inquiries about order status, invoices, and products
• Automate lending operations by creating agents that process loan documents and manage borrower communications
• Build sales agents to facilitate routine orders, follow up on stalled carts, and engage with potential leads

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years of software engineering experience, or 12+ years of related experience
• Experience shipping LLM-based agents or assistants in production environments
• Proficient in backend engineering using Python or TypeScript, including APIs and cloud services (AWS)
• Experience integrating with business systems like CRM or ERP, ensuring proper authentication and audit trails
• Strong judgment on agent safety and appropriate hand-off protocols to human operators
