Job Summary
Driving end-to-end system design and product integration, the full-time remote Senior AI Engineer will develop and implement intelligent agents for Workday's financial platform, focusing on AI orchestration and ensuring data privacy and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver effective agentic AI experiences for Workday Financials customers
- Set the strategy for evaluating agent performance
- Collaborate in an iterative, team-first environment that values strong engineering practices and continuous learning
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience integrating large models (LLMs, Foundation Models) and modern AI APIs into user-facing products
- 1+ years of experience in agent evaluations
- Experience designing evaluation datasets, test suites, and automated metrics tied to product requirements
- Understanding of governance, guardrails, and security practices when deploying agents over sensitive enterprise data
