Senior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative AI initiatives, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will build, train, and evaluate machine learning models, focusing on reinforcement learning and collaborating with domain experts in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture specialized knowledge from domain experts and represent it in structured form
• Design reinforcement learning environments and train language models using methods like PPO and DPO
• Document results and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field; MS or PhD preferred
• 3+ years of hands-on experience training or fine-tuning language models
• Demonstrated experience in reinforcement learning, including environment design and policy training
• Strong Python and PyTorch skills, with fluency in the Hugging Face ecosystem
• Experience working with healthcare data or in a highly regulated industry is preferred
