Job Summary
To support the AI Safety Engineering team, the full-time Senior AI Engineer will architect and develop safety infrastructure, focusing on automating workflows for harm detection and content moderation while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or onsite capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Architect agentic automation loops to streamline workflows for safety evaluations and model testing
- Develop specialized safety models for identifying harmful content and implementing run-time guardrails
- Pioneer automated research frameworks using LLMs to discover vulnerabilities and enhance safety datasets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in ML engineering or software engineering
- Proven experience in building complex automated workflows using LLMs
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Rust or Python, with experience in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch
- Demonstrated ability to tackle open-ended problems and execute projects from concept to deployment
