Senior AI Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior AI Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles, this role will design and develop learning-based multimodal sensor-fusion systems to create a robust 3D/4D world model for L3/L4 autonomous driving, collaborating closely with various teams to enhance navigation and perception capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop multimodal sensor-fusion systems for unified spatiotemporal world representation
• Build architectures for processing camera, LiDAR, radar, and vehicle-state inputs while managing calibration and uncertainty
• Create training and evaluation pipelines for large-scale multimodal datasets, defining objectives for perception quality and safety

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience, including 2+ years in the AV or robotics industry and 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong experience in developing production-quality sensor-fusion and autonomous-driving systems
• Proficient in C++ and Python, with hands-on experience in deep-learning model development using PyTorch
• Solid understanding of 3D geometry, calibration, and sensor failure modes
