Senior AI/ML Data Architect

Job Summary

Owning the architecture and design of data models, the full-time Senior AI/ML Data Architect will create coherent data schemas and representations that support AI systems, ensuring data quality and lineage while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or Seattle-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design data models and schemas that represent community knowledge for AI, ensuring coherence across systems
• Architect data flow from raw sources to models, maintaining lineage and provenance for trust and traceability
• Set standards for data consistency and quality, preventing fragmentation and ensuring correctness by design

Required qualifications

• Seven or more years in data architecture, data modeling, or a closely related field
• Experience designing data models and representations for ML or AI systems
• Strong grounding in schema design, data modeling, and knowledge representation
• Experience with features, embeddings, and representations for models and retrieval
• Fluency across relational, graph, and vector data paradigms
