Senior AI Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior AI Security Engineer will design, build, and secure AI-enabled applications in regulated healthcare environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior security engineering partner for AI product initiatives, collaborating from concept through implementation and production support
• Design, build, and secure AI-enabled applications and reusable platform capabilities while ensuring compliance with security standards
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling for AI applications, addressing security risks and implementing automated controls

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Demonstrated experience designing and securing AI-enabled applications in production environments
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including proficiency in Python and API security
• Experience securing cloud-native systems and familiarity with AWS security architecture
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field required
