Senior AI Software Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development of AI-powered software products, the fully remote Senior AI Software Engineer will manage the software development lifecycle, from architecture to delivery, while collaborating with military and business leaders to enhance decision-making capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and testing of AI-enabled software systems, utilizing advanced technologies like GenAI and machine learning models
- Own the architecture of modular systems within a distributed framework, including RESTful containerized microservices
- Define and optimize the orchestration and evaluation of LLM-backed features in production environments
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of owning systems end to end
- Mastery in object-oriented design and programming, with knowledge of design patterns and algorithmic analysis
- Expert proficiency in Python; experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++ is a plus
- Experience building applications that utilize LLMs, including evaluation and deployment processes
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a government security clearance (Secret Clearance); active or prior Secret is preferred
