Senior Algorithm Engineer

Job Summary

To support the analytics and machine learning domain, the fully remote Senior Algorithm Engineer will participate in the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle, including model deployment and maintenance, while collaborating with data scientists and clinicians to enhance machine learning tools for brain and biosignal data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices, including specifications gathering, data curation, and documentation
• Select and implement appropriate methods for problem-solving, applying deep learning techniques as needed
• Enhance internal tools and best practices to improve efficiency and ensure user-friendly algorithm implementations

Required qualifications

• Over 5 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences
• Proficiency in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics, with a focus on using the right tools for specific tasks
• Experience with PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks for model development and deployment
• Familiarity with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
