Senior Analyst, Origination
Job Summary
Supporting the analytical and coordination needs of the Origination and Contracting team, the full-time remote Senior Analyst, Origination will manage market fundamentals reporting, price curve management, revenue modeling, and oversee M&A activities to inform pricing recommendations and deal economics for renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities
- Produce market fundamentals reports covering energy, capacity, and ancillary service markets across key ISOs/RTOs
- Build and maintain revenue models for solar and storage projects under various offtake structures
- Prepare market updates, pricing memos, and deal summaries for internal approval and external counterparties
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in renewable energy origination or related analytical roles
- Strong Excel skills for building pricing forecasts and tracking program economics
- Familiarity with community solar and distributed generation program structures
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and automation
