Job Summary
To support GM Insurance's regulatory and statistical reporting functions, the full-time remote Senior Analyst Regulatory Reporting will lead the end-to-end reporting process, ensuring compliance and data quality while collaborating across various teams to resolve reporting issues and enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the regulatory reporting function, including report production, reconciliation, and submission processes
- Develop and maintain reporting requirements, data specifications, and audit-ready documentation for regulatory filings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements and improve data quality for compliance-critical reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field; Master's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of data analysis and project management experience
- 2+ years of SQL/Python experience required
- 5+ years of senior analyst experience in customer insights, business analytics, or regulatory reporting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance regulatory reporting and compliance processes
