Senior Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Analytics Engineer will build trusted financial data products, automate workflows, and collaborate with finance teams to enhance reporting and decision-making processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated workflows for data preparation, reconciliations, and reporting with clear monitoring and exception handling
- Collaborate with Finance to identify pain points and translate business needs into practical data and automation solutions
- Build scalable, reliable data pipelines and intuitive dashboards to support decision-making and performance insights
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics and management within financial services or a regulated industry
- Strong SQL and Python skills, including experience in writing and maintaining production code
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools such as dbt, Spark, or Airflow
- Direct experience with finance or accounting data, including reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, navigate ambiguity, and improve process reliability through automation
