Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing analytics practice, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will design and build scalable dimensional models, ensure data quality, and facilitate alignment between source data and business definitions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build dimensional models using dbt and BigQuery, translating business questions into actionable data structures
• Own data quality and monitoring processes, defining correctness and proactively addressing data discrepancies
• Act as a liaison between technical definitions and business needs, ensuring models support stakeholder self-service analysis

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles
• Deep expertise in data modeling, including designing dimensional models and understanding complex modeling scenarios
• Production experience with dbt, including model materialization strategies and testing
• 2+ years of experience with BI tools, preferably Looker, and understanding the impact of modeling choices on analytics
• Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholder decisions
