Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To build a modern data foundation for wealth advisors and client service teams, the full-time remote Senior Analytics Engineer will design and maintain dbt models, co-own the Power BI semantic layer, and establish data quality standards while mentoring team members and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models on Microsoft Fabric to transform raw data into well-documented datasets
• Co-own the Power BI semantic layer, ensuring key metrics are consistently defined and reused across reports
• Establish data quality standards and implement software engineering practices for analytics, including CI/CD for deployments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Five or more years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence development
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in query optimization and dimensional modeling
• Hands-on experience with dbt in production, including model design and deployment practices
• Strong Power BI experience, including semantic model design and governance of shared datasets
