Senior Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Building data models for business operations, the full-time Senior Analytics Engineer will work remotely to design, maintain, and optimize dimensional models in dbt and Snowflake while collaborating with senior leaders to translate business questions into actionable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dimensional models in dbt and Snowflake for various business functions
• Translate business questions into clear data requirements by collaborating with senior leadership
• Own the full model lifecycle, including source ingestion, staging, testing, documentation, and deployment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related quantitative field is preferred
• Deep experience with dbt, including macros, packages, and incremental models
• Strong skills in Snowflake and advanced SQL with a focus on performance and cost management
• Proven experience designing dimensional models and understanding data architecture principles
