Senior Android Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the development of Android features end to end, the full-time remote Senior Android Engineer will collaborate with design and engineering teams to create impactful mobile experiences while also contributing to other platforms as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Own the entire process of Android feature development from understanding user needs to shipping and analyzing performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product direction and advocate for effective solutions while managing project scope
• Write high-quality, well-tested Kotlin and Compose UI code that integrates seamlessly with existing architecture

Required qualifications

• Several years of experience building production Android applications with proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android architecture
• Ability to work credibly across at least one additional platform (web, iOS, or backend)
• Experience in product engineering, with a focus on understanding user needs and driving product impact
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly in communicating technical concepts to non-engineers
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed trade-off decisions
