Senior Anti-Cheat Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the integrity of competitive gaming, the remote Senior Anti-Cheat Security Engineer will protect games, players, and prize economies from cheating and fraud while developing automated detection systems and collaborating with various teams to design security measures across mobile clients and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security protections for mobile games and tournaments, ensuring fair play for participants
• Develop automated detection tools and respond rapidly to emerging threats and cheating techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a secure architecture for gameplay and prize competitions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in game security, application security, anti-cheat engineering, or fraud prevention
• Strong software development skills in Python or TypeScript, with experience in backend services and automation
• Deep understanding of API security, authentication, session management, and applied cryptography
• Hands-on experience with mobile platform security, including iOS/Android app hardening and root/jailbreak detection
• Familiarity with server-authoritative game design and common cheating techniques
