Senior Appian Consultant
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Appian Consultant will help envision, design, and implement new features using the Appian low-code platform while collaborating with a team in an Agile environment and mentoring junior developers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement features based on the prioritized product backlog using the Appian platform
- Participate in Agile meetings, including User Story grooming and Sprint Planning, while providing estimates for upcoming sprints
- Conduct unit testing of developed features and participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and functionality
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or other IT-related degree
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government's Public Trust security clearance
- At least 6 years of experience in designing and implementing digital, BPM, or case management solutions using Appian
- Strong Appian development and debugging skills, with experience in recent Appian versions (20.x and later)
- Good understanding of data concepts (SQL, Databases) and business workflows
