Senior Application Developer

Job Summary

Joining a high-performing Scrum team, the full-time Senior Application Developer will design, build, and manage data pipelines and machine learning applications to support clinical insights in veterinary care while collaborating with data scientists and engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver industry-leading capabilities by participating in business planning and technical strategy
• Innovate technology, team processes, and development practices within an Agile framework
• Collaborate effectively with team members including Architects, Developers, and Product Owners across various remote locations

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency with cloud providers, preferably AWS
• Experience with Databricks and programming languages such as Python and PySpark
• Knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway and AWS Lambda
• Experience building CI/CD systems and using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
