Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on the implementation and maintenance of the application security program, the full-time remote Senior Application Security Engineer will advise on secure product design, perform security reviews and testing, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance security measures across various systems.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on secure product and architecture design while performing security-focused code reviews and testing
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement security-related systems and functionality
• Monitor software usage for compliance with security standards and stay updated on security trends and best practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant Information Security and/or Software Engineering experience
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-specific security risks and experience securing AI-powered application features
• Knowledge of secure application programming, coding lifecycles, and design principles
• Solid understanding of security principles, architectures, tools, and processes
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Security, or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
