Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

Evaluating and improving large language models, the full-time Senior Application Security Engineer will focus on security-related coding tasks, including vulnerability assessment and exploit verification, while working remotely on a contracting basis with potential for long-term engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate coding tasks related to software vulnerabilities, exploit verification, and security patches
• Create high-quality coding prompts and reference answers for benchmark-style problems
• Identify and document model failures, edge cases, and reasoning gaps

Required qualifications

• At least five years of professional software-development experience with strong Python skills
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability research, exploit reproduction or verification, or implementing security patches
• Ability to apply structured evaluation criteria and write clear technical feedback
• Fluency in written and spoken English
