Senior Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
Bridging frontend, backend, and API security, the full-time remote Senior Application Security Engineer will partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, focusing on AI/ML security considerations and vulnerability remediation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage product security with an emphasis on AI/ML automation and cross-functional collaboration
- Lead security design reviews and threat modeling for APIs and web features
- Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 6-8 years of experience in application security or full-stack development
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js
- Familiarity with application risks, including the OWASP Top 10 and API security
- Experience with code scanning tools such as CodeQL, Wiz, or Snyk
