Senior Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Application Security Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for enhancing application security, collaborating with product teams on security projects, and defining governance standards for AI usage.
Key responsibilities
- Manage application security initiatives, including security reviews of public-facing APIs and code security review agents
- Develop and enforce internal AI governance standards and security policies for agentic tooling
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to secure database integrations and improve secrets management practices
Required qualifications
- 7-8 years of professional experience with at least 3-5 years in a security-related role
- Strong experience with Python programming
- Fluency in English
- Familiarity with industry certifications such as ISO-27001 and PCI-DSS is beneficial
- Experience with security-focused source code review and penetration testing
