Senior Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the strategic shift towards developer-embedded security, the full-time Senior Application Security Engineer will design and implement advanced application security practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance vulnerability triage and remediation processes.
Key responsibilities
- Operationalize Secure by Design principles and embed security controls into engineering workflows
- Architect and enhance threat modeling pipelines and configure security scanner rulesets
- Pioneer AI-driven automation to accelerate vulnerability triage and provide technical guidance to developers
Required qualifications
- Deep, hands-on experience in Application Security or Secure Software Engineering within cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities and secure coding practices
- Proven experience tuning security scanner pipelines in CI/CD environments
- Fluency in modern software development languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript
