Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Application Support Engineer to perform high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop technical solutions, and manage system outages while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance for cloud systems
- Document and resolve system outages, ensuring compliance with VA standards
- Communicate effectively with users and senior management regarding system status and issues
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure Cloud services
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
