Senior Application Support Engineer
Job Summary
To provide high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Application Support Engineer will manage system outages, develop solutions to technical problems, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of application cloud systems
- Detect, document, and resolve system outages while communicating status updates to users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including services like S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
