Senior Application Support Engineer
Job Summary
Managing day-to-day operational support for complex application cloud systems, the full-time Senior Application Support Engineer will develop solutions for technical issues, document system outages, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of application cloud systems
- Document and resolve system outages, ensuring rapid recovery and communication with users
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Proficiency in AWS and/or Azure cloud services, including S3, CloudWatch, and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with SQL query and monitoring, along with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
