Senior Application Systems Analyst
Job Summary
Working full-time during day shifts, the Senior Application Systems Analyst will implement, enhance, and support business, clinical, or financial applications while providing ongoing telephone support for end users.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the implementation and optimization of Athena/IDX professional billing systems and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between revenue cycle processes and clinical systems
- Utilize SQL and data extraction tools for reporting and analysis to support operational and financial decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2-4 years of experience preferred in healthcare IT or revenue cycle management
- Strong understanding of Athena/IDX and Cerner Millennium systems
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and ICD-10
