Senior Application Tester
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Application Tester for a remote VPN position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform formal software testing activities for complex software applications
- Review user requirements documentation, develop test plans and transform them into test scripts
- Analyze test results, document conclusions, and make recommendations based on test results
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of ten (10) years experience in software development, software quality assurance/control, and/or related field
- Experience with automated ALM testing, software development lifecycle processes, Agile (Scrum), running integration tests, and analyzing data using SQL
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in data manipulation in Excel
- Experience overseeing direct reporting resources and/or being responsible for all staff assigned to a specific job
- Extensive knowledge and experience in formal software testing for complex software applications, defect tracking tools, and authoring software-quality-related documentation
