Senior Applications Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with leading experts in computational chemistry and AI, the full-time Senior Applications Engineer will develop software tools for AI-driven simulations in materials science and chemistry, working remotely or onsite to enhance the NVIDIA ALCHEMI ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop new tools and features in NVIDIA ALCHEMI to support atomistic simulation workflows
- Guide customers in integrating material science applications with AI surrogates into their workflows
- Profile applications and run benchmarks to demonstrate product value
Required qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent experience in computational physics, computational chemistry, computer science, or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in developing high-performance numerical methods for scientific computing or material science applications
- Experience with material science simulations on large-scale HPC systems
- Proficiency in Fortran, C++, CUDA, Python, and common Material Science tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team
