Senior Applications Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting customer and internal RTL power analysis activities, the remote Senior Applications Engineer will execute established PPRTL flows, assist with evaluations and support cases, and develop expertise in RTL power estimation and low-power design tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute PPRTL logical flows and prepare collateral from established templates to support evaluations
- Assist customers with routine flow setup, installation, and licensing questions while documenting results and issues
- Diagnose routine issues, escalate complex problems, and collaborate with sales and support teams on assigned accounts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years in semiconductor EDA, IC design, or applications/support; or Master's degree with no prior experience
- Basic understanding of RTL power, including switching, internal, and leakage power
- Familiarity with Linux and Tcl scripting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
